Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion

Join us at this 'must see' exhibition which opens at the end of May. Curator Cassie Davies-Strodder will give an introductory talk before we visit the exhibition. and the afternoon session will be with Lesley Miller, Senior Curator - Furniture, Textiles and Fashion Department, who will discuss her book Balenciaga.

Lesley says: 'Cristobel Balenciaga’s name is now synonymous with clothes made to the highest standards and characterised by their sculptural quality, deft manipulation of textiles and dramatic use of colour.'

Lunch in museum or nearby cafés.
