May Morris Exhibition

In 1885 William Morris handed over the management of Morris & Company’s embroidery workshop to his 23 year old daughter May, an accomplished embroiderer and designer.

We will be given a tour of the exhibition by the Museum Manager and in the afternoon Textile Society member Sally Roberson, embroiderer, lecturer and volunteer at NT Standen will take those interested around the exhibition to talk about stitches and technique.
