In 1885 William Morris handed over the management of the embroidery workshop to his youngest daughter May, who at 23 was already an accomplished practitioner.
Curator Rowan Bain will give an introductory talk when we arrive, and after lunch Margaret Waring has kindly offered to show techniques and stitches used by May.
